Communication Tools and Strategies

One of our primary goals here is to show the collective strength of the young people of the Diocese of Massachusetts. You might feel like you’re working on your outreach by yourself, or with a small group from your church, but you’ll actually be joining with people all across the diocese to mobilize and help out. However, in order to show how many of us there are, we’re going to need your help. Once you’ve started with your ministry, connect with us to let us know how it’s going! This can take a couple different forms:

 1.     Post on Social Media

If you get a great picture from a food drive, a zoom call, or just mailing out a letter or a donation, share it on facebook or instagram and tag us (@diomassyouth) in the post. We’d love the chance to share your story (and showing your involvement will help inspire other young people to get involved, too!).

2.     Tell us your story

Didn’t get a picture? That’s okay! Drop us a line at edalzell@diomass.org to tell us how you got involved. It doesn’t need to be a whole essay about how cooking a meal for Ecclesia changed your life, even something as simple as “My family donated the money we would have spent to go see a movie to the COVID relief fund, it feels good to help out where we can,” would be great to hear.

3.     Stay connected for updates

We’ll share pictures and quotes on facebook and instagram, and we’ll be updating the catalog with even more ministry opportunities, so make sure to check back in regularly.
